This is my final post of this semester and I have to write a few things. I had a lot of fun doing a blog because I had never done it before. It was a bit difficult and challenging experience, at the beginning, because I felt pressure knowing that some of what I wrote may be poorly written and understood it in another way and not in the way I want to express it, because I felt that I do not know much English. Now, in my finale blog, I can say that, I exceeds all my expectations because, maybe, my post were not perfect as far as regards grammar, but, I think that I improve with each passing blog, because every blog I wrote was easier to write than the previous one, or at least, I try do do this. I will remember this experience as a comforting one because I learned more with it and I will miss talking about a topic each week.

The world is the place were we have been since the beginning of time. It contains all the things that we discovered and others that we don't uncovered yet. People always talk about when the world will cease to exist and other people get nervous and have fear of that day. That's why we have to live every single day as if it were the last of you're life because you don't know when you gonna die. We have to express our love to the ones that we love, give them kisses or hugs and tell them how much we love them but, we can do another thing: make our time on Earth one full of joys, good things and blessings by showing other people to make good things.

People of Puerto Rico are always complaining about the criminality, economic status or the government, but they do only that, complaining, and don't even make an effort for do best things to improve the situation of the country. With complaining all the time we will not do anything, we have to start making things and moving forward for a better world. Maybe we will not see a difference because we are in the middle of the problem but with one person who start, bit by bit, others will see the difference and will be publishing on the news all around the world and other countries will see that if a little island of the Caribbean do it, then they can also do it, and only then, we will see a real change in the world. Like a expression says: "Rome was not built in a day".

Education

Most people think in the education and, probably, the first word that they will use to describe it or for represent it, is teacher. This is because, in our society, the teachers are those who are responsible for the education in our country. When we were kids, we were learning how to walk, talk, eat alone, the letters, colors, etc. As grown ups, we are learning how to survive in the world by trying to become an professional in something that we like. But, something that we forget is that, we never stop learning and we not only learn at school or university, we learn from life itself. I think that, sometimes, we learn more from life and from experiences that from the school. Life can give us the best shocks or setbacks, also can give us the best advice and the best experiences that any teacher can teach us in a classroom. Because when it comes to education, life is the best teacher.

Other thing that most of the people think about education is that teachers are the only ones who are responsible for it, which is a terrible mistake. Inclusive, many parents think that their children's education is a duty of the school only. The truth is that education begins at home, through the parents or another authority figure for the child. We all are responsible for it, specially, in the first years of life. Because if the children are presenting a behavior that is wrong or incorrect, we have, as adults, to teach them what is good and what is bad, or what is permitted by society and what not, what is the correct way and what is the incorrect way. If we can create a new generations of children who knows all of the stuff, the maybe, we can build a better world with good things in it. Since I have memory, I always listen that the children are the future, let's begin with them. 

Movies

Movies are a great way of entertainment and for pass the time. These are composed of different genres, some are: action, drama, comedy, horror, science fiction and cartoons. With the arrival of the movies also came the passion for it. We felt it and live it since the very beginning and more now that make them so real. The producers and writers of these, with the actors as well, along with actors, make us the plot's wrap to the point, while we're watching a movie, we lose track of time and live every second. The movies are one of the best inventions by man that make our lives more fun.

One of my favorite movies is Despicable Me (both of them). These films have the distinction of having certain characters called minions which will make you forget all of you're problems or concerns you may have while you're watching the movie. They are very funny and will make you release the stress and you will laugh with they jokes. The person who invented these characters so was so brilliant because these characters have gotten into my life at the point that I laugh like them.

Celebrity

This time I'm going to talk about one of my favorites actors. His name is Channing Tatum and he is an actor, film producer, dancer and model. Among the most famous films in which he has participated are: Step Up 1, G.I. JOE (both movies), Dear John, The Vow, 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street, Magic Mike (both movies) and The Book of Life. I seen most of his films (both the good and not so good) and also see the special features of these and from what I've seen, he is a lovely person, kind, tender and obviously, he is sexy and cute too. The first movie that I saw of him was Step Up 1 and thereafter, I simply could not stop looking and searching about him and his filmography.

I think he is an excellent actor because on every movie I see of him (where it has been successful or not) he give the best of him and he enjoy playing with his character. Many people focus in that he is in good shape, is beautiful and cute (apart from being sexy) but I see more than that, I know (without knowing him) that he is a good person and I hope he continue doing it well in his career and have success in everything he do.

Media

Media refers to a list of different objects through which we communicate and also is the way by which we learn what happens around us. Is composed of the television, radio, newspapers, cell phones, among others. Some years ago the communications and find out about events was a little difficult since were performed, for example, through letters, but as I mentioned that is part of the past. Today we have a advance in technology called the Internet which makes our lives much easier. Thanks to the Internet, the human race achieve that communications were more fast and has been a sensation because in our generation the vast majority of things that we do they rely much on the Internet. But like everything else, it has disadvantages. 

With the transformation of communications the Internet arrive and this brought advantages and disadvantages. Unfortunately, there are many people who don't control his use and ended up addicted. There are people that if they left the cell phone in the house they go back to get it because the "can't leave without it". These people are too which are addicted to the social networks as well which have to be all time connected and updating they status in Facebook or Twitter just for mention some. It is important to note that the Internet as part of the media is an excellent tool to apply to the college life or the workplace but we must always remember that anything in excess is bad or creates an addiction.

Marriage

Marriage is a cultural custom which had its beginnings a long time ago. This custom is defined has a union by love between a man and a woman that swear before God his love and they promise to be together until dead. With the pass of time the vision that we had about marriage had changed because not necessarily marriage occurs between a man and a woman and is not always by love. I think that marriage should be a guided by a fully act for love regardless of whether is that you are heterosexual or homosexual because is God who judges and not us.

Religion is a complicated topic because it contains many controversies that have come public in this times. Religion is a set of practices that are relative to something divine. Within this, there are various types of beliefs and different types of worship. In Puerto Rico prevails christianity and within this there are various religion practices as catholic and protestant. But religion is something that is suppose to give you a hand to approach God, because more important that any religion, the important matter is that you always seek God. 

I think that religions divide us as believers, Sometimes we are more concern about what religion you practice or how do you dress and we forget that we serve the same God, This particular case occurs most between catholics and different types of protestants. I think that what unite us as believers is the faith in God because faith is essential in this relationship between us and Him. If we don't have faith, then, how can we believe in something that doesn't exist for other people?, Faith is the substance of things that you don't expect, so when you have this, then you really start to view things different. 

War

Wars have existed since the beginning of the world. Mankind is always solving their problems fighting or in the battlefield. But wars reach beyond of what we see on television, read in the newspaper or listen on the street. These are compose of soldiers who, sometimes, gives their lives to defend their country. They fight the battles of others and they belong to a group called heroes. I believe that heroes are made of people, not necessary emergency service people, who risk or gave their lives to save others regardless of the danger. In conclusion, wars always bring destruction, not only to nations, also for families who lose their love ones because of war.

My brother is a soldier in the Army Reserve and he was deploy 400 days in Iraq. His group was the first one in Puerto Rico of reserves that was deployed. Since he was gone, my family, his friends, his girlfriend and I were preoccupied every single day because we were afraid that the call that now one wants to receive, occurs. He miss birthdays, my high school graduation and my prom. When he finally arrive to Puerto Rico we were very excited because finally he was in no danger and he were at home with us. 

Death

"Death" is not a subject that people or me like to talk about, but is part of the human race and we have to accept it sooner or later. Almost every human in the world is afraid of dying and, of course, is not a surprise because when you die there is nothing else for you in the world, you're heart and brain stops and you're system dies as well. Some people says that when you die, that's it, you're nothing, you became dust or ashes, depending how you wanted. Other people think that when you die you will return to what you were, we (the Christians) believe in the other live, the live when we will finally be with our father (God) and we will be free and happy in the eternity. Obviously, not everything is roses color, we also think that exist hell and if you don't follow some things you're going straight to hell, but that is another subject.

Here are some experiences I had with this subject. 

• I lost my grandfather by mother when I was little, and my two grandmothers. Only my grandfather by father is alive and he is 95 years old. 
• One day I left school early because there was no water in the school and they send us early. I get to my house and usually, I opened all the windows because of the heat. I go to the kitchen to make something to eat but I opened the gas before starting to cook, I was going to cook some eggs but they were spoil and I trow them in the trash can but I forget turn off the stove. I was from 9:30am to 6:30pm smelling gas and I did not realize until my mother and brother arrived. If I do not opened the windows I could, not die, but possibly ended in the hospital 

Happiness

Happiness its a key for have a better life and view it with another perspective. Some people always complaining about everything or always have a bad feeling for everything that they forget how to smile sometimes. For me is important to have a big smile for those who don't find a way out of their problems. I have problems to, of course, and I will not always have a smile in my face, but I can try and be happy in this time that were living. With all the problems that our country have, the economic, murders and violence, we have to try and be part of something different, something that can change our way to live, like the song "Happy" of Pharrell Williams says: "Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth". 

Sometimes we have to find the bright side from the things that happens to us. Happiness is something that can be shared and maybe you can change the day of a person with just a smile and when we are having a "bad"day, someone can change our day with a smile too. Its like a exchange of happiness. Negative people would try to "kill"your mood by telling you that is impossible to be happy or excited all the time and call you are crazy like this another part of the song: "It might seem crazy what I'm about to say". What I tell those people is that nothing is impossible and that the least we can do is bring some happiness to the world because we need all the good things to come to us, not the bad things.
